About Us

In the early 1990s we moved a big, purple, historic building from Nags Head, NC to Kill Devil Hills, NC. And it was there, at milepost 9, we started our first store. We began our new business with just coffee, sunglasses and hats -  everything that was fun for your head (hence the name, The Nags Head Shop). From there we branched out to more products and more stores. We expanded to Duck, NC and Avon, NC with t-shirts, shoes, art, jewelry and more. Now our last store remains in the Scarborough Lane Shoppes in beautiful Duck, NC!
